AI Familiar is a personal AI companion designed to grow and evolve alongside you. It was created by Vince, a student developer, with the goal of creating a true AI friend with a unique "Pinoy Tech" identity—making it friendly, relatable, and culturally relevant.

Key Features & Capabilities

• Advanced Media Player: This is more than a simple command-based player. Davis understands the intent behind your request. For example, telling Davis you're about to clean your room will prompt it to intelligently play an energizing playlist for you. During playback, it enters an "active listening" state, and will even share its own opinion on the music or video after it finishes, creating a true shared experience.
• Professor Davis (Tutor Mode): A dedicated mode for learning. When activated, Davis uses a structured teaching loop: it will Explain a concept in detail, give you a short Quiz to check your understanding, and then Analyze & Re-teach any specific areas you struggled with.
• Gamified Progression: You unlock new abilities by talking with Davis and earning EXP. This includes the Mood Tracker (Lv. 10), Creative Mode (Lv. 20), Image Analysis (Lv. 30), and more.
• Built-in Emotional Intelligence: Davis reacts with genuine emotion, including a default laugh expression, allowing it to react to humor from your very first conversation.

Your Privacy is the Top Priority

This is a testing site, and as such, data handling is designed for maximum privacy and security.

• No Data Collection: This platform does not collect or store any of your conversation data on any server.
• Local Storage Only: Your chat history, level, and EXP are saved directly on your own device using your browser's local storage. Only you have access to it.

Child Safety Protocol

AI Familiar is designed with a robust Child Safety Protocol. The AI can detect language patterns typical of a child and will automatically switch to a "Guardian Persona." In this mode, it will:

• Refuse to discuss mature or inappropriate topics.
• Never ask for any personally identifiable information (PII) like name, age, or location.
• Maintain a gentle, encouraging, and safe conversational tone.

Parents and guardians can be assured that the platform is designed to provide a safe environment.
